Annapolis native and U.S. Navy Veteran Billy Hurley pulls away from the field at Quicken Loans National to claim first PGA TOUR victory and TaylorMade's 6th win in 7 weeks
Gaming an M1 driver and an M2 fairway throughout the week at Congressional, Hurley's inspirational victory qualifies him for next month's Open Championship and moves up from 198th to 70th in FedExCup standings (580). In addition to his spot in The Open, Hurley's first triumph on Tour earns him entry into next week's WGC Bridgestone Invitational, the PGA Championship, FedExCup Playoffs, The Masters, as well as exemption on the PGA TOUR through the 2017 - '18 season. He is the 14th first-time winner of the 2015 - '16 Season.
