PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR JOB APPLICANTS
The privacy of job applicants is important to us and we take every precaution to protect your personal information. The personal information you provide for potential employment at TaylorMade Golf or as part of the recruitment process will be held and processed for the purposes of the application for the role and for selection purposes.
What personal information do we collect about you?
Personal information is any information which can directly or indirectly link to a specific individual (from the moment of birth until death). Personal information is collected via the online application form or resumes which includes but is not limited to:
First name, last name, gender, date of birth, place of birth, country of birth, nationality, street, postcode, city, country, telephone number, e-mail address, current and previous employment details, academic background, evidence of identity such as national ID/passport.
We may also process sensitive personal information where relevant to the recruitment process, including where necessary to accommodate any disability needs. Sensitive personal information may include but is not limited to:
Criminal record, race/ethnicity information, health related information including physical/mental health.
We may also process personal information provided by you in relation to third parties when it relates to your application for employment with TaylorMade Golf such as details of your references. You should only provide Personal Information in relation to third parties with their knowledge and agreement.
At this stage of the process your personal information is collected and processed only to the extent necessary to assess your suitability, skills and experience for the role that you have applied for.
If your application is successful, the information will be used for any pre-employment screening and assessment of your capabilities and professional qualities for the role.
How do we collect your Personal Information?
Careers website, social network, LinkedIn, and resumes.
Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?
Only TaylorMade Golf employees or contracted workers conducting recruitment activity have access to your information. The information is processed and forwarded to the staff member responsible for recruitment of the role using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).
If your application is successful, the personal information collected during the recruiting process will be transferred to Human Resources for use in pre-employment screenings, personnel file creation, offer of employment and onboarding activities. Personnel files will be retained throughout your employment and after termination in alignment with applicable laws.
We may share your personal information with our selected service providers acting on our behalf. These third parties will be required to use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information.
Your Rights and Choices
Under data protection law, you have rights we need to make you aware of. To the extent allowed by applicable law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Right to confirm whether we maintain any personal information concerning you in our systems and databases;
- Right to receive a copy of personal information that you provided to us;
- Right to request an amendment or update to any inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you in our systems and databases;
- Right to request restrictions on how we use and process your personal information;
- Right to revoke authorizations given to us on how to use and share your personal information;
- Right to object to using your personal information for certain purposes, including direct marketing and profiling; and
- Right to request us to delete your personal information from our systems and databases.
Please be aware that it is not always possible to completely delete, erase, or comply with your request with respect to all of your personal information from or in our systems and databases without some residual data backups because we still need to process your personal information for the purpose the data was originally collected, or we need your information to comply with legal obligations, to perform contracts, resolve disputes, and for other legitimate reasons.

How do we protect and safeguard your information?
We have strong internal policies and controls in place to ensure that your personal information is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by our employees in the proper performance of their duties. The information from your application form will only be accessed by designated staff responsible for recruitment of a particular role.
TaylorMade Golf has technologies and security policies to protect the stored personal information of our users from unauthorised access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. We are fully dedicated to complying with all applicable information protection laws.
How can you access, verify, modify or delete your information?
All candidates applying for a role at TaylorMade Golf will create their own personal account which is password protected. This account will enable you to view, change or delete your curriculum vitae and all your personal information stored in your candidate profile at any time in this application site. Additionally, this account will enable you to apply for roles at TaylorMade and access the status of your applications.
You cannot change your application after submitting it for a particular role. If you wish to modify or delete your personal information after having submitted your application or your TaylorMade profile, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if you do not provide personal information?
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide personal information to TaylorMade during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide requested information, we will not be able to process your application.
