TM21 FAM My SIM 2 LYD OSN 01327 v1

The sport of golf is an incredibly individual endeavor. Each golfer brings their own unique swing to every shot, and plays with a strategy and attitude unlike anyone else’s. TaylorMade celebrates the different ways golfers enjoy the game with a commitment to performance and personalization through the bag.

“Every golfer has their own personality, like a unique fingerprint. We’re in an endless pursuit of improvement, and customization and personalization are two ways to help golfers play better and also feel the excitement of having equipment that helps them play better and shows off their one-of-a-kind personality on the course.”
- Brian Bazzel | VP of Global Product

In recent years, TaylorMade has made great strides as a leader in customization, helping Experiential Reps and golf professionals across the fit their golfers and order custom clubs to maximize performance. That includes significant investments in a custom plant to ensure accuracy and speed in building and delivering custom fit clubs to exacting specifications – like shafts cut to within 1/100th of an inch, and the use of advanced tools to measure the exact swingweight of each club.

It wasn’t just equipment, TaylorMade invested in people. By implementing advanced training for field reps and club pros, there’s assurance that golfers receive to most up-to-date and comprehensive fitting experience possible.

After you know what club fits your game, the next step is making sure you’re in love with the look of the product. That’s why TaylorMade is taking personalization even further. What’s inspired this trend?

Outside of golf, personalization has become a major focus in many areas of life. From restaurants allowing diners to choose from expansive options when building to-go orders to high-end sports cars giving drivers dozens of choices for seat colors or steering wheel materials in their next roadster. Even apps that allow you to order custom fit/tailored clothing.

On the MySIM2 drivers, for example, you can change the color of the forged aluminum ring around the perimeter of the club or even the color of the crown and topline, fundamentally altering the look of the club.

“The standard SIM2 drivers have a chalk-colored topline that contrasts with the dark carbon crown of the club, but some players might prefer a more understated look – and they can choose a black topline that blends into the crown and really transforms the appearance of the driver. There are 16,000 different combinations possible just on the MySIM2 head alone.”

For TaylorMade’s MG2 and Hi-Toe wedges, you can personalize the clubs with vibrant paint fills, finishes and unique stampings – like nicknames or a reminder to keep your head down – in addition to custom lofts, lies and lengths. With putters like the MyTP, MySpider and Spider X, you can get even more creative by choosing different colors for face inserts and weights, distinct finishes on the TP line, and a variety of hosel configurations and grip options to suit your putting stroke.

You’re used to seeing these one-of-a-kind products in the hands of Tour players, and now you can build your own while also having the performance custom fit to your swing.
