NEW TO THE BAG: Qi10 TOUR 3-WOOD
New to the bag this week is a Qi10 Tour 15.0° 3-wood that Tiger tested in the weeks leading up to Riviera. He has it set one notch from the lower position and with the sliding weight toward the low position.
Tiger spoke to the media on Wednesday about the 3-wood and kept it pretty simple:
"The 3-wood is in play."
"I feel very comfortable with the 3-wood. I had to find the right shaft for it and decided to switch the shafts and go with what I have on my driver. I wanted to find something I could draw a little bit better and this one is definitely that."Tiger Woods on his new Qi10 Tour 3-wood

IT'S A TP5x PARTY AT RIVIERA
As we told you after Rory won in his second start with newly released 2024 TP5x golf ball, his golf ball switch has paid big distance dividends of up to eight yards compared to his previous TP5x. Don't believe me? I'll let him tell you.
Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Taylor Montgomery and Kurt Kitayama all also played TP5x golf ball this week. Rory and Taylor have moved into the 2024 version immediately after testing, while the rest of the squad is still in the testing process. On the LPGA Tour, Brooke Henderson is also gaming the 2024 TP5x golf ball.
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER WITB
Let's not forget about the World No. 1. Scottie put his Qi10 8.0° driver in play for the first time at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and finished WMPO second in the field with 4.616 SG: Off the Tee. After the first round at Riviera, Scottie is second in the field in Driving Accuracy (12/14) and third in SG: Off the Tee (1.551)...we have that as pretty good.
