When we created the Qi10 family of drivers, our goal was to help golfers optimize distance with enhanced forgiveness. And we did. Our quest for more inertia resulted in the Qi10 Max, Qi10 and Qi10 LS drivers which together, offer golfers a full suite of drivers to help them get the most out of their game from the tee.
But we wanted to take the Qi10 driver line a step further and offer golfers more than just the host of technological benefits these drivers provide. That’s why the brightest minds on our design team went to work creating the Qi10 Designer Series.
Each driver in the Qi10 Designer Series line is derived from inspirations both old and new. The culmination is a family of drivers that aren’t just pleasing to the eye, but inspire confidence and celebrate individuality as well.
Qi10 MAX DESIGNER SERIES DRIVERS
Forgiveness is more than just a feeling, it’s a number. The Qi10 Max Designer Series drivers deliver 10K MOI, unlocking a new frontier of forgiveness and stability. Qi10 Max Designer Series drivers are now available in three colors, with the latest colorway launch coming in the form of an all-black design.
There is a saying amongst equipment designers and golfers alike that you can never really go wrong with all black. So, it comes as little surprise that the latest Qi10 Max Designer Series driver is just that – blacked out. The design behind this driver is a culmination of influences from the automotive world and the TaylorMade design team’s own creativity.
The driver features clean lines and an appeasing overall profile are a thing of beauty from both a design and playability standpoint allowing golfers to gain a sense of confidence that they can let it rip.
Set against a Navy crown and sole, the Qi10 Max Cobalt Blue Designer Series driver features hints of lighter blue complement as noticeable, but not overpowering accents. The light blue color announces itself more significantly on the clubface where it’s outlined by a white streak across the top. This provides a visually appealing contrast to the rest of the clubhead.
The Gold Dust Qi10 Max Designer Series driver derives success from a timeless design theme that’s proven popular in an array of artistic mediums outside of golf. Streaks of gold are set against an otherwise black crown and sole.
The carbon clubface features a similar design that’s all-black, but fringed with flecks of gold and silver toward the toe and heel. A thin silver line delineates the transition between the clubface and crown.
Black and gold are just a classic color combination you see on watches and other high-end products. We wanted this Qi10 Max Designer Series Driver to feel rich and inspirational.Robert Nunez, Senior Industrial Designer
Qi10 LS DESIGNER SERIES DRIVER
Classic TaylorMade style meets new-age innovation in the all-new Qi10 LS Designer Series driver.
Designed for players with faster swing speeds, this driver sports a black crown with faint copper striations running diagonally from the tow toward the heel. A classic TaylorMade logo serves as the alignment aid, and a subtle nod to TaylorMade’s timeless tradition with 1980’s TaylorMade logos also prominent on the outside of the toe and on the sole.
The Qi10 LS Designer Series package is rounded out by a black carbon face with copper and silver etchings on the heel and toe.
I love taking TaylorMade’s past and bringing it into present times. This driver was inspired by the BRNR Mini Driver designs we have created the last two years with the idea that the pair could live together nicely in someone’s bag.Robert Nunez, Senior Industrial Designer
Discerning players looking to reduce spin and optimize launch are sure to appreciate this driver’s retro style and the technological benefits and adjustability if affords.
Qi10 DESIGNER SERIES DRIVERS
Golfers have their choice of Ruby Red or Black Out in the Qi10 Designer Series driver. The Black Out clubhead is everything “tonal, mean, and lean” in the words of Robert Nunez, our Senior Industrial Designer.
Looking down at this driver in the address position, golfers see an all-black clubhead with clean, rounded lines that poignantly contrasts with the golf ball.
The carbon clubface is ultra-sleek with its all-black sheen and smokey gray etching flanking both the toe and heel.
If there’s one word to describe the Ruby Red Designer Series Qi10, it might be fast. The club’s crown and sole are etched with streaks of red that overlay a black base color. The iconic red TaylorMade alignment logo in the middle of the crown screams “ready, set, go” when it’s set behind the ball.
The theme continues with a black clubface that’s jetted with Ruby Red and gray etchings on both the toe and heel.
We looked at trying to do red in a different way. I was inspired by some red carbon supercars that I had witnessed both in person and online. We wanted this driver to look modern, but not overly in your face.Robert Nunez, Senior Industrial Designer
Wrapped in a clean and confident package, the Qi10 Designer Black Out and Ruby Red drivers are strategically engineered to help players optimize distance with enhanced forgiveness. The low CG projection and high MOI deliver balanced performance and individualized style without any tradeoffs.

Players with fast swing speeds looking to reduce spin and optimize launch are sure to appreciate the marriage of old and new in the Qi10 LS Designer Series Copper Driver.
