Emboldened by his 2004 Junior Worlds victory at Torrey Pines, a 16-year-old Jason Day showed up in the lobby at TaylorMade HQ – located just a few miles north of the iconic muni. He was interested in learning more about TaylorMade’s innovative putter designs and desired a fitting, in which he was matched to one of the company’s high MOI mallets – foreshadowing Jason’s love for the Spider Putter. After joining officially joining TaylorMade in 2006, Jason climbed to the No. 1 ranked position in 2015 and maintained it for a total of 51 weeks. With the complete package of power, pure ball-striking and lethal putting, he’s a threat from anywhere on the course. As the 2015 PGA Championship winner, Jason looks to add more majors to his list of accomplishments.
“We (at TaylorMade) have the best drivers out there, we have the best technologies and we’re always innovating. We strive to stay one step ahead of the next competitor. From top to bottom, driver all the way through putter and ball, everything is solid.”
